The full process

From intake to injection, step by step.

Most men go from first click to first dose in two to three weeks. Here’s exactly what happens in between — and why each step exists.

    Online intake

You answer a structured health questionnaire: symptoms and how long you've had them, medical history, medications and allergies, prior testosterone or steroid use, and your goals. Your provider reads every intake personally and screens for conditions that make TRT unsafe.

    • Eligibility check: 18+, male, located in Texas
    • Symptom and duration screening
    • Full medical history and medication review
    • Fertility planning questions — asked before treatment, not after
  2. 02Week 1 · two separate mornings

    Baseline labs at Quest Diagnostics

We send two lab orders to a Quest location near you. Both draws must happen before 10 a.m., when testosterone peaks — that's the diagnostic standard, and afternoon numbers can read falsely low. Walk in, get drawn, done in minutes.

    • Total & free testosterone — drawn before 10 a.m., on two separate days
    • CBC with hematocrit — your red blood cell baseline, monitored throughout therapy
    • Comprehensive metabolic panel — liver and kidney function
    • Estradiol (sensitive assay)
    • LH & FSH — tells us whether the cause is testicular or signaling
    • PSA — where indicated by your age and history

Live video visit with your provider

A real appointment on HIPAA-compliant video — required by law for controlled medications, and the most valuable half hour of the process. You review both lab panels together, go through your history, and talk frankly about risks, benefits, and alternatives.

    • Full lab review, value by value
    • Fertility conversation: TRT suppresses sperm production, and recovery isn't guaranteed — if future kids are in the plan, we discuss options before starting
    • Risks and side effects, explained plainly
    • A decision: a personalized treatment plan, or an honest “TRT isn’t right for you”

    Medication delivered

If treatment is right for you, your prescription is e-prescribed to a licensed U.S. partner pharmacy through a secure controlled-substance system. Your first shipment arrives with everything you need and clear injection instructions.

    • Testosterone cypionate 200 mg/mL
    • Syringes, drawing and injection needles
    • Alcohol prep pads and a sharps container
    • Step-by-step injection guidance from your provider

    Monitoring, refills & follow-up

Testosterone therapy is a long-term clinical relationship, not a one-time transaction. Your dose is adjusted from data, your safety labs are watched, and your questions get answered by the provider who knows your chart.

    • Follow-up labs about 3 months after starting, then every 6 months once stable
    • Hematocrit and PSA monitoring on schedule
    • Dose adjustments based on labs and how you feel
    • Direct messaging with your provider between visits
    • Refills stay tied to monitoring — current labs and visits keep shipments on schedule
